Description

Andersen Air Force Base, Guam has a design-build construction requirement to Repair Installation Command Post Radio and Antenna System, Andersen AFB, Guam DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Design-Build project to repair the Installation Command Post Radio and Antenna System. This project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of four (4) Government Furnished Contractor Installed (GFCI) antennas and associated mounting brackets on the roof which includes the installation of conduits running from the antennas to Radio Room 131. This project will also include installation of conduits and associated fittings from Room 131 to Room 123, Room 143, and Room 110 with the installation of GFCI cables, pull boxes, cable trays, associated hardware, associated grounding, and bonding, required testing, firestopping, associated drilling and concrete scanning, and restoration of affected areas. Room 123 requires a minimum of 12 cables, Room 143 requires minimum of 6 cables, and Room 110 requires minimum of 2 cables. Facility will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01. This project will comply with Department of Defense antiterrorism/force protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria 4-010-01. Tentative period of performance is 210 calendar days. MAGNITUDE FAR 36.204(c): $100,000 and $250,000 LOCATION OF WORK: Andersen AFB, Guam PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 210 Calendar Days RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130 Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction with a small business size standard of $45 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). CONTRACT TYPE: Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) SITE VISIT: 17 Aug 2023 at 1000 ChST (See Attachment 6) REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Any Requests for Information (RFIs) regarding this solicitation are due on or before 28 Aug 2023 at 2:00pm hours ChST and shall be submitted electronically via email to the notice POCs. The Government does not intend to respond to inquiries submitted after this deadline. All questions will be answered via Q&A format and amended into the solicitation. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor SAM.gov for any amendments or changes.
