Description
The award is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) requirements type contract for the delivery, installation and training of a bench stock point of use (POU) vending machine using FAR Part 13 and FAR 19 contracting procedures. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, contract management and equipment provide a bench stock POU machine, its operating locations at Air Force Global Strike Command, Ellsworth Air Force Base (EAFB), Rapid City, South Dakota (SD). Brand Name or Equal to Auto Crib AutoVend AVX1K IAW SOW 05 May 23 Provide a repair parts vending machine to the AMXS group with a 19"" touchscreen, minimum capacity of 1000 bins, management and license software, delivery, installation and training. Salient Characteristics: ACCESS: 24/7 POINT OF USE Authorized access - Vending solutions must have an integrated bar code reader that reads the bar code on the back of the individual's CAC but NOT the chip data; and/or a user can enter his/her mannumber, along with a user-chosen personal PIN code. BENCH STOCK SUPPORT: No Co-Mingling -Each item shall be separated individually into bins with parts cups that are accessed individually returned with 20 seconds (maximum). Min/Max Levels - Managed bench stock at 100% stock level and will not allow re stocking an item over the 150% level (minimum). Restock report contains items that reach 50% (minimum). Restocking - Barcode reader allows the supplier to scan the bench stock barcode for quick and accurate restocking. Lot Control/Shelf Life Items -managed automatically. Any expired item should be locked and not accessible. Search Options - Bench stock items need to be searched by issued by NSN, Nomenclature, Multiple Part Numbers or traditional bin locations. No Duplicate Bins Automatic deduction of the issued items from the total stock level HARDWARE & WARRANTY: An industrial vending machine with touch screen used to manage small fasteners and bench stock in warehousing and open hanger environments with little maintenance. Modular lockers to issue larger bench stock items such as filters, hoses, incandescent light bulbs, tires, gaskets, etc. Accessory that provides the ability to dispense multiple quantities of an item with an automated count determination and deducted from the stock level.� Self-calibrates prior to each transaction. Commercial Warranty - A warranty includes all parts, postage and 24 /7 tech support from date of acceptance. SOFTWARE: Able to control, manage, operate shop and track in a single system along with reports all managed by the customer. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
