- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This is a notification that Naval Special Warfare (NSW) intends to award a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Skygroup Investments, LLC (iFLY Seattle) for Vertical Wind Tunnel (VWT) support services. The anticipated period of performance will be a five-year ordering period. This sole source acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the simplified acquisition procedures for certain commercial items at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a).� The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611620. The size standard is $9M. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if bonafide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical capability information, which shall demonstrate contractor�s ability to complete effort within required time. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be submitted to shelly.pollock@socom.mil and received no later than 9 September 2023 @ 10 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor.
