AMENDMENT 00001 ISSUED 8/28/2023 15B50023Q00000004 Amendment 00001 is issued to notify all offerors that a site visit will be scheduled on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 @10:00 a.m CT. Please email, Abigail Arriaga at aarriaga@bop.gov by Monday, September 4, 2023, if you plan to attend. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP),South Central Regional Office hereby issues solicitation 115B50023Q00000004 for the award of a firm-fixed-price contract to a responsible entity that will provide turnkey installation including all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to remove existing boilers and installation of gas boilers system. All equipment specified in this statement must be brand name or an equal product. Should your firm choose to submit an equal product, you must submit all technical specification of the equal product to be analyzed and a technical determination issued with acceptance/non-acceptance. This project basis of design is Raypak MVB � Type H Heating Boiler Models 503A-2003A with a period of performance of 80 calendar days. Contractor shall remove two existing boilers, pumps, controls and associated hardware. Supply and installation of (2) new Raypak MVB � Type H Heating Boiler Models 503A-2003A or equivalent.�All ancillary equipment, water pumps, piping, valves, controls, electrical power services and equipment for the demolition, installation and operation shall be included as per the attached statement of work. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors) with a corresponding small business size standard of $19.0.� Any secured/locked documents with the solicitation will require an active vendor registration at https://SAM.gov as well as your Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) associated with your System for Award Management (SAM) registration.� If you encounter problems accessing these documents, please contact the Federal Service Desk at 866-606-8220. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the SAM database at https://SAM.gov.� Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available.� The website provides download instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments, will also be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for continuously monitoring this website to ensure that they have the most recent information about this proposed contract action. IMPORTANT: Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at SAM.gov.� All bidders are urged to double check their SAM registration and update as necessary, including the size metrics information. This solicitation is intended only for those who would be entering into a Prime contract with the FBOP for the entirety of this project.� The FBOP does not award subcontracts.� Subcontracts (if applicable/necessary) are the responsibility of the Prime contractor.� The FBOP has no privity of the contract with subcontractors.
