Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� The solicitation number for this acquisition is 75N98023Q00046 and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).� This solicitation document and its incorporation provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC-2005-70).� This acquisition will be processed as a fixed priced requirement and is a Small Business Set-Aside.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339112, and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director (OD), Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management (OLAM). Division of Logistics (DL), NIH Supply Center (NIHSC) is looking to procure the following items.� The requested Ansell product meets facility PPE safety requirements related to operations in the labs and animal facilities of the National Eye Institute (NEI), enabling that staff to continue meeting the NIH mission for research. This means that while a specific brand name may be mentioned as the preferred product, offers can also submit equivalent products that meet the specified performance or other salient characteristics of the named brand. Partial quotes, or offers for only a portion of the total items or services being solicited, are acceptable. The term ""Domestic non-availability"" is used to describe when certain articles, materials, or supplies aren't available in sufficient quality or quantity in the U.S. The ""Buy American"" statute encourages the purchase of American-made goods. However, if certain articles, materials, or supplies aren't mined, produced, or manufactured in the U.S. in necessary quantities or satisfactory quality, then the statute doesn't apply The government intends to award possible multiple awards to the offerers who can provide all of the items listed within a 10 day delivery timeframe.� If no offerors can satisfy the entire requirement, we may use the quotes as a price list to award the remaining items not on the list.� The government�s priority for award is first, delivery timeframe, and second, price. There is no Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned to this acquisition.
