Description
Ground Penetrating Radar- 8530; The ground penetrating radar unit shall be portable, handheld, battery operated, and easily maneuverable. The ground penetrating radar unit shall be capable of locating and identifying features within a concrete structure to a depth of at least 12 inches. The ground penetrating radar unit shall be equipped to locate reinforcing bar, plastic conduit, pre- and post-tensioned cables, and voids within or behind a concrete structure. The ground penetrating radar unit shall have a digital display that presents a live display of located items quickly and in an easy-to-read format. The ground penetrating radar unit shall have the capability to store multiple scans and export them to a 3D modeling software. The required specifications include: The ground penetrating radar unit must be suitable for the following operating conditions: Handheld and portable Maximum dimensions: 15 x 10 x 6 inches Maximum weight: 10 pounds Battery Powered 3-hour minimum operating time Record and present data in both US customary units and SI units Ability to scan to a minimum depth of 12 inches (300mm) Must be accurate to within 0.5 inches (12mm) Have a localization accuracy to within 0.5 inches (12mm) Ability to scan a minimum of 100 feet in any one scan Operate in a temperature range of 32 to 110 degrees F Store at least 50 scans in RAW data view format for later upload to a computer software Provide a real-time 2D and 3D image on an on-board display, showing both plan and cross-sectional views of the scanned area. The unit must include: The equipment for operation of ground penetrating radar unit, including but not limited to: An on-board digital display At least two (2) rechargeable batteries. Battery charger At least two (2) 3GB (minimum) memory cards for storage of raw data Reusable reference grids for scanning and imaging of structures Reference grids must cover a minimum of 2 feet by 2 feet and have units of measure no greater than 1-inch. A protective carrying case Non-cloud based software compatible with Windows 10. Product training for at least three (3) Reclamation personnel provided by the manufacturer. Product training shall cover all capabilities of the equipment and include a hands-on example on an existing concrete structure. The unit must be new. No discontinued models, refurbished equipment, or refurbished parts are acceptable. All parts must be available for a minimum of 10 years from the date of acceptance by the government.
