Description

Reference#: HT941023N0118 The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Western Markets - Contracting Division (WM-CD) on behalf of Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.501(a), Only One Responsible Source. The proposed source is Hologic LLC., the originator of the equipment and the sole authorized servicer of the preventive maintenance of the Fluent Systems and Novasure Systems. This requirement to provide technical support via telephone (0700-1900 EST M-F), exchange of the equipment during the coverage period once a year, provide on-site preventative maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended schedule, and agreement to provide additional discount in the event equipment exchange has to occur more than once in twelve months . This request is to establish initial service contract for gov't owned FLUENT Systems (SN: M3617A23D0 & M3618A23D0) and NOVASURE (SN: 32864I22D0). This requirement has period of performance from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2028 (base + 4 options). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement.� The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.� However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product.� All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If a vendor challenges the basis of this requirement, please email product capability statements (formats for submission: PDF, MS Word, or MS Excel) to Jane Pamintuan at jane.v.pamintuan.civ@health.mil Closing date for challenges is no later than 1000 PST on 14 September 2023.� No phone calls will be accepted.
