Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Johnson Controls, Inc., 507 E Michigan St M-93, Milwakee, WI 53202-5202 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available under Urgent and Compelling Need. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This requirement is for Sur-Gard System 5 Virtual Receiver from Johnson Controls Inc., with full services to include removal of the existing system, installation of the new system, troubleshoot/test the new system, and provide commissioning and training to Camp Lejeune Dispatchers and Fire Alarm Technicians/Insepctors. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 12:00 PM EST, 11 September 2023.
