- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 16 Contracting Office intends to award a Sole Source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 FAR Par 13.106-3; Soliciting from a Single Source Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions (VHSS), 2615 Port Industrial Drive, Suite 405, Jacksonville, FL 32226. VHSS is the only SDVOSB authorized by the Original Equipment Manufacturer to distribute the GlideScope Core 15 Premium. The place of performance is for the Department of Veterans Affairs Biloxi VAMC located in Biloxi, MS. The NAICS code determined for this requirement is 334510 (Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing). This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Purchase Order. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations: interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 09/07/2023 at 3:00pm CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THE RESPONSE: Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), email address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e. small/large), and Unique Entity Identifier. Statement of Capability that demonstrates ability of providing the item in accordance with the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR) and past performance in providing this type of service. Include example of prior completed Government contracts, references, and other related information. This notice is to assist NCO 16 in determining SOURCES ONLY. This announcement is not a request for proposals or quotations. The Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation or submission of information in response to this announcement. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C25623Q1790 - GlideScopes in the subject line of the email. If after September 7, 2023, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, the Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Veterans Healthcare Solutions. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be not solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Statement of Requirements: Seven (7) Brand name only GlideScope Core 15 Description of Use: To be used in the Biloxi, MS VAMC Surgical Department. This solicitation uses a Brand Name of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. All offers must work with existing Verathon GlideScope equipment that has already been purchased and is currently in use at the station.
