*AMENDMENT 0001* The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solictation deadline from 13 September 2023 to 22 September 2023, and add additional reference drawings. Solicitation Number: W912P523Q0043 Title: Transformers, Main MCC & Control boards Replacement, at Pickwick Lock, Hardin County, TN & Melton Hill Lock, Oak Ridge, TN Classification Code: 6120, Transformers: Distribution And Power Station NAICS Code: 335311, Power, Distribution, and Specialty Transformer Manufacturing PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District Contracting Division has a requirement is for a firm fixed-price supply contract for Transformers, Main MCC & Control Boards Replacement at Pickwick, and Melton Hill Locks. The scope of this contract is for the vendor to provide two (2) Transformers, one (1) Main MCC, and two (2) Control boards for Pickwick Lock; and one (1) low voltage switchgear & MCC and two (2) Panelboards into the Melton Hill Lock. DELIVERABLES: � Specifications for Pickwick Lock:�The Contractor shall be responsible for replacing the Transformer and 480-volt Main MCC Board at Pickwick Lock. The Transformer and 480-volt Main MCC Board is located in the Operation Buildings basement. (2) Transformers One-line diagram including transformers. Outline drawings including front elevation, section views, footprint, and overall dimensions. 3P 13.2KV � 480V 750KVA (1) Main MCC (Motor Control Center) Enclosures Unit Compartments Motor Control Center Doors and Covers Horizontal Wireways Vertical Wireways Molded Case Circuit Breakers Trip Units (2) Control Bench Boards Enclosures Unit Compartments Pumps ON/OFF Switches Miter Gates Open/Close Switches Water Height Level Indicators Specifications for Melton Hill Lock: The Contractor shall be responsible for replacing the 480-volt Auxiliary Board at Melton Lock. The 480-volt Aux. Board is located in the Operation Buildings basement. The board is divided into two (2) sections, Low-Voltage Switchgear and Motor Control Center connected via a 600 amp fully enclosed bus as indicated in the drawings. � Low-Voltage Switchgear - One-line diagram including breakers, fuses, current transformers, and meters. Outline drawings including front elevation, section views, footprint, and overall dimensions. � MCC (Motor Control Center) Enclosures Unit Compartments Motor Control Center Doors and Covers Horizontal Wireways Vertical Wireways Molded Case Circuit Breakers Trip Units � Panelboard Enclosures RSM 262416302750 Panelboards, 3 phase 4 wire, main circuit breaker, 277/480 V, 600 amp, 42 circuits, EHB, incl 20 A 1 pole plug-in breakers This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change.� � SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM):�Offerors must be successfully registered in the SAM, www.sam.gov, in order to receive a Government contract award.� Offerors� must have their representations and certifications available on-line in SAM or provide them with their proposal in order to receive a Government contract award. IMPORTANT NOTICE�:�Effective March 22, 2018, new entities that are registering in SAM must submit an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized entity�s Administrator that is authorized to register the entity in the SAM database, or to make changes to its registration. Effective April 27, 2018, entities that are updating or renewing their existing SAM registrations must submit an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized entity�s Administrator that is authorized to register the entity in the SAM database, or to make changes to its registration, before the registration is activated. The new registration may now take several days to become active depending on (1) the information provided passing existing validations and (2) the entity�s successful delivery of the required notarized letter. Contractors who are new to the SAM registration process are highly encouraged to begin registering as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays in future contract awards. Remember, there is no cost to use SAM. To find out additional information about the changes of the SAM registration process, contractors should visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) link located at the top of the SAM homepage (www.sam.gov). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:�Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the SAM.gov. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of all potential offerors to monitor the SAM website for any amendments, updates, responses to questions and answers, etc. as the Government will not be maintaining a mailing list. �
