Description

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, NM intends to negotiate a single source award with PROAIM Americas LLC for one Zeiss OS Cirrus HD-OCT Model 5000 optical coherence tomographer. An Anterior Segment Premier Module, warranty, installation, and training will also be procured. The delivery date is 12/20/2023. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334510-Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus and Manufacturing with a Small Business Administration size standard of 1,250 employees. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. PROAIM Americas LLC is the only source for the required products due to data compatibility reasons. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the Notice of Intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated products may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted no later than 1:00PM (MDT) on 9/15/2023. Responses can be submitted via email to Rodney.Brown@ihs.gov. A determination by the Government on whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
