- Description
- This is a market survey for Snow Removal/Ground Services for Anchorage, Alaska (Flight Inspection Field Office (FIFO).� The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the required Snow Removal/Ground Services for Anchorage, Alaska.� This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is�561730 Landscaping Services.� The business size standard for this NAICS is $9.5M. Requirement: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Flight Program Operations, Anchorage FIFO (Flight Inspection Field Office) requires seasonal snow removal / ground support services to include snow removal, sanding, and sweeping of outside designated areas.� A determination to set this follow-on acquisition aside for small businesses has not yet been made for the follow-on requirement. The results of this market research will be used to make that determination in addition to other acquisition strategies. Scope of Work: The Contractor will provide all planning, administration, and management necessary to ensure all services comply with the contract, schedules, directives, and all applicable laws and regulations in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW).� The Contractor must provide all labor, product, and equipment required for ground service support.� Contractor must ensure safe and correct usage?of?products and equipment to include wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in common industry best practices and regulations.� Contractor will provide a list of all products and equipment to be used for ground services to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and authorized FAA Representative.� The following information shall be provided by interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: � Type of services provided by firm, � Size and type of services provided by previous contracts (provide detailed information and past performance), � Number of years in business and business size Respondents must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov).� Interested parties should return the requested documentation to the Contracting Officer, Stephanie.R.Riddle@FAA.gov on or before September 29, 2023. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only.� This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind.� The FAA is not accepting proposals at this time.�� The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey.� Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense.
