Publication Modification 1 GENERAL INFORMATION: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), is soliciting proposals to interested businesses having the capability to perform the work described below and meet the criteria herein.� The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) website at www.sam.gov under Contract Opportunities.�� Proposal documents will be available for download in Microsoft Word, HTML, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF; Specifications will be available in Adobe PDF format; and drawings will be available in PDF format.�� Please Note:� Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available.� Vendors are encouraged to search for opportunities and award history on www.sam.gov, which can be accomplished without registering.� The website offers an Interested Vendors List and a Watchlist where company/entity interest can be added. FY23 Tonto NF Heritage NAGPRA ID, Confirmation and Recovery Project (4) Description. The Tonto National Forest has a requirement that requires osteological expertise and knowledge for field inspection of newly discovered finds where the presence of human remains has been reported, that includes, but may not be limited to identification, documentation and recovery of human remains through field analysis in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). (5) Place of Contract Performance.� The work is located in the Tonto National Forest in Maricopa and Pinal Counties, AZ. (6) Period of Performance. The project contract duration is estimated to have a performance period of 2�years�from the contract award effective date.� (7) Product or Service Code.
