Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), operates a laboratory in a privately-owned building located at 801 Summit Crossing Place, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054.� As part of Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), the laboratory operates under the Laboratory Approval and Testing Division (LATD), National Science Laboratories (NSL). The mission of the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Science and Technology Program (S&T) is to �Empower the agricultural and food communities through exceptional scientific services.� USDA, AMS, S&T, LATD, NSL Gastonia laboratory requires the purchase of a maintenance service plan contract to cover Thermo Fisher LC/Orbitrap systems. These instruments are highly sophisticated and critical to the operation and growth of the laboratory.
