This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is neither a solicitation announcement nor a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all U.S manufactured products that are equal to the following product(s): The USDA, ARS, Mycology and Nematology Genetic Diversity and Biology Laboratory(MNGDBL), Beltsville, MD� requires a Nikon Digital Sight 10 (DS-10) Color Camera (23.9MP), workstation & 4X objective 2023 upgrade. All components must be compatible with the existing Nikon Eclipse Ni-U and SMZ-1270 microscopes. OBJECTIVE:� Upgrade current system to include New Workstation and Elements Basic Research(BR) to Advanced Research(AR) upgrade and Higher Resolution 4x Objective for taking advance images of nematodes. Complete System Upgrade Requirements: DS 10 color CMOS camera. 23.9MP with adaptor, power cord, USB cables 27-inch 4K UHD Display Monitor Enhanced Imaging Workstation NIS-Elements: Upgrade: BR to AR NIS-Elements: Upgrade: 4D to 6D Imaging CFI60 Plan Apochromat Lambda D 4x Submission Instructions Interested businesses who consider themselves qualified to provide Nikon Digital Sight 10 (DS-10) Color Camera (23.9MP), workstation & 4X objective 2023 upgrade �or an equal product that is manufactured in the United States for the above-listed product are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by Sept. 19, 2023, by 11:00 AM EST. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to directly to, Claire Anderson: claire.anderson@usda.gov with the Sources Sought ID# 12305BSS-1108489 in email the subject line. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
