- HSI/VSI Industry Day � 10 October 2023 Please join us for the upcoming HIS/VSI Industry Day scheduled for 10 October 2023 remote via MS Teams. Horizontal Situation Indicator/Vertical Situation Indicator (HIS/VSI) are electromechanical, hermetically sealed navigation instruments used together to indicate helicopter pitch, roll, and yaw relative to the event horizon and provide critical vector direction and position information to the pilot and co-pilot. Current contract effort is for repair/sustainment of existing HIS/VSI units only and does not include procurement of new assets or acquisition of other HIS/VSI versions. This industry day will provide vendors an overview of the HIS/VSI acquisition strategy.
