- Sources Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, Central Texas Health Care System (CTXVHCS) equipment located in 1901 South 1st Street Temple, TX 76504 intends to issue a contract for CTX Warehouse Storage. The VA plans to procure Warehouse Storage within a 20-mile radius of the CTX VA Warehouse at 1901 South 1st Street Temple, TX 76504. The purpose of this project is to obtain storage space that can be used for the storage of medical supplies and equipment in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The space will need the following: Usable floor space with a yield of a minimum of 32,500 SF to a maximum of 38,000 usable SF The space shall be accessible by (2) loading docks with ramps and (1) garage door access. The space shall have at least (1) unisex restroom or 1 male and 1 female restroom. The space shall be located within a radius of 20 miles of 1901 South 1st Street Temple, TX 76504. Storage area will need to be temperature controlled to maintain a temperature between 70 - 85 . Space must be adaptive to VA security system install. Electrical power for Special Equipment (110 v) as requested by the Contracting Officer. Space must have (3) enclosed workstations/ workspace to protect employees from environmental hazards. The VA intends to solicit a contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The VA anticipates awarding a contract on or about 10/25/2023. This is a Sources Sought. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 493190, Other Warehousing and Storage which has a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 million. This Sources Sought is not a request for competitive proposals. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207 (c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources that feel they can fulfill this requirement may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the VA. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement, and include: Dun & Bradstreet Number, and the Taxpayer Identification Number, along with documentation that the vendor is an authorized service provider of the equipment listed. All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov. Interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) must be listed as verified on the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database located at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov in order to receive contract awards under the Veterans First Contracting Program. A determination by the VA not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VA. In addition, the information received from this Sources Sought will be retained as market research only.
