Description
National Park Service (NPS) - National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) - Fire and Aviation Management (FAM) - Information Technology Resource Management (ITRM) - Firm-Fixed Contract As required per FAR 5.301 this a 8(a) Sole Source Award Announcement Only, as a pre-solicitation synopsis is not required per FAR 5.202 (a)(4) as this was a 100% 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside. Purpose: DOI-NPS � Washington Contracting Office (WCO) - Fire and Aviation Management (FAM) - Information Technology and Resource Management (ITRM) Program has a requirement for a single contractor to provide Information Technology (IT) support and development services. Some of the work may include business process analysis, needs assessments, facilitating requirements sessions, providing project management services, and development, testing, and implementation of all phases of Fire and Aviation Management Information System (FAMIS) and other IT related items for NIFC. The contractor shall work with NPS subject matter experts to identify current and future system requirements based on past Joint Application Requirements sessions and deliverables to assist in designing a technical solution and the continued implementation of the FAMIS system and other related IT Systems as required for the FAM-ITRM at NIFC. The contractor shall develop or configure, test, stage, and release the FAMIS by applying iterative processes utilizing a proposed Agile methodology and a frequent release cycle. The contractor shall develop, test, and implement FAMIS using the low-code ServiceNow platform/services and JavaScript coding language. The contract shall also provide Custom Computer/IT Programming services ranging from simple to complex and services-based solutions such as IT help-desk support, information assurance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data management, geospatial services, and more. Examples of work to be performed relative to Order requirements include the following. These examples are not meant to be all-inclusive, but rather general indications of the types of services within a given IT services-based solution. Other services not listed as examples, but which adhere to the definition of IT, are within scope and may be provided to meet an agency�s particular mission needs. - Data Management - Information and Communications Technology - IT Operations and Maintenance - IT Security/IT workforce augmentation - Software Development - Systems Design
