Description

� Reopen temporary roads to access Wind River project area. Estimated start date of July 1 to September 30. Extended work into October may be allowed depending on precipitation and soil saturation levels. � Directionally tip 51 trees 22-43� DBH within the project sites riparian area � Mechanically tip and skid trees to the stream from temporary roads that access the directional tipping sites. � Construct log jams, as per the direction of Contracting Officer�s Technical Representative (COR). Trenches will be excavated into stream banks or on gravel bars at marked locations. Depths and widths will be determined on-site by the COR. Trees are placed in the trenches and backfilled in lifts to the heights specified by the COR (Figure 2). Project Work
