- FOR INFORMATION ONLY: This is not a solicitation.�This is a synopsis ONLY NOTIFICATION that a solicitation will be issued. CONTRACT INFORMATION: This announcement is a woman-owned a small business set-aside acquisition to provide Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Elaine Circle, Gordon Creek at Bakery #3, and Mixon Creek Site #5 Sites in Forrest County, Mississippi. Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside. Place of Performance: Forrest County, Mississippi The North American Industrial Classification System code is 237990, which has a size standard of $45 million. A firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated under sealed bidding procedures FAR Part 14. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered as Active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and be designated as a certified economically disadvantaged WOSB or WOSB concern. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/.�No state level certifications will be accepted. PROJECT INFORMATION: The estimated magnitude for this contract is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.� The project encompasses the installation of bank stabilization measures via grouted rock riprap and debris removal on three sites within Hattiesburg, MS city limits. A site visit is being organized, the details of which will be provided with the solicitation. The estimated solicitation issue date for solicitation 12FPC323B0014 is on or about October 10, 2023. Proposals are anticipated to be due approximately 30 days from issuance of the solicitation. �
