- ***Amendment 0003 - This amendment contains the second round of bidders questions from industry. In addition, the proposal due date has been extended to 27 October 2023. Please find all proposal submission instructions within the Solicitation.*** ***Amendment 0002 - This amendment contains the first round of questions that required an urgent response due to the proposal due date. No other changes have been made at this time. *** ***Amendment 0001 - The Solicitation N00024-23-R-4205 DDG SCS Amendment (1) attachment contains minor revisions under Contract Line Item Descriptions.*** The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is hereby issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Solicitation N00024-23-R-4205, pursuant to FAR 6.1 full-and-open competition, for the production of ship control systems in support of the DDG 51 Class Modernization program. The Contractor shall design, develop, fabricate, assemble and test a DDG-51 Class Ship Control System (SCS) to meet the performance requirements specified within the Solicitation. All work performed under this contract shall comply with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.The offeror shall submit all information required by this solicitation. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the solicitation may result in the offeror being deemed non-responsive and therefore not eligible for award. The offeror?s proposal shall be based on the requirements contained in this solicitation (including those documents, exhibits, and other attachments identified in Section J). Attachments J-1 through J-3 within the RFP contain Controlled Unclassified Informtion (CUI). For access, the offerror must submit a request via email to the Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) and Contract Specialist IAW the instructions provided in Section L (1.4) of the RFP. All proposals shall be submitted electronically via Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and must be received within (45) days of the posting of this solicitation. CAUTION: The Government will not reimburse respondents any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this solicitation. There is no funding associated with this announcement. This RFP is not to be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind.
