- MDA/MSK � COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) FOR BATTERY STORAGE CONTAINERS AND FIRE CONTAINMENT CABINETS (BSCFCC) Please refer to the Combined Synopsis and Solicitation, as well as the Attachments, for further information and insight regarding this solicitation. SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENT: The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has a requirement to purchase two (2) battery storage containers and fire containment cabinets as specified and in accordance with Attachment 1 �SOW � Battery Storage Containers and Fire Containment Cabinets, and Attachment 2 � Green Requirements Sheet, needed for use at the Von Braun Complex located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. The MDA/MSF Facility Manager for Huntsville has requested the battery storage and fire containment cabinets in order to help halt and/or prevent thermal propagation in batteries that can result in fire and smoke damage to surrounding areas. DELIVERY LOCATION: Huntsville, Alabama, USA RESPONSES:�Vendors who are interested in this requirement and have the requisite capabilities shall submit a response by the date and time specified in this announcement.� At a minimum, responses shall identify capabilities to meet the MDA�s objectives listed above.� Partial solutions will not be accepted. The Government highly discourages submitting proprietary or business sensitive information. Vendors submitting proprietary or business sensitive information are solely responsible for marking the information for appropriate safeguarding.
