Description
9/25/2023: The purpose of this amendment is to correct the question and offer response due date. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested based on the requirements outlined in this combined synopsis/solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire commercial items using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This solicitation, 75N97023Q00097 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05 published 08/08/2023. This requirement is set aside for small businesses responses only. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 323117 Books Printing with a Size Standard of 1,250 employees. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. The Literary Collections Division of the National Library of Medicine has a requirement to procure one copy of the following book or pamphlet: Pedacio Dioscorides anazarbeo, acerca de la materia medicinal . . . traduzido de lengua Griega, en la vulgar Castellana . . .por el Doctor Andres de Laguna for the History of Medicine Division of the National Library of Medicine. Date, Time, and Place of Offers are Due: The closing date for the delivery of a response to this combined synopsis/solicitation is on or before 12:00 PM Eastern Time (ET), on Wednesday, 27 September 2023. All questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation 75N97023Q00097 must be received in writing at the email address listed below no later than 12:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (ED) on Tuesday, 26 September 2023 to allow the Government time to review and respond accordingly. Questions received after the date and time specified above are not guaranteed to be answered prior to the solicitation closing date. Quotes shall be e-mailed to the Point of Contact (POC) shown below by the closing date and time. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure that the transmission is received by the Government prior to the closing date and time. Upon receipt of an electronic quote, the Government will acknowledge receipt of that quote via email to the offeror. In lieu of submitting the full text of those provisions, the offeror may identify the provision by paragraph identifier and provide the appropriate information with its quotation or offer. Addenda specifying shipping, invoicing and other Government specific terms and conditions will be incorporated into any orders stemming from this solicitation.
