*********************************UPDATE****************************** September 28, 2023 The DHS S&T/TSL/TSA Machine Learning Industry Day Q&As have been posted.� Please see the Q&As attachment below in this announcement.� � *********************************UPDATE****************************** September 12, 2023 The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), Transportation Security Laboratory (TSL) and�DHS Transportation Security Administration (TSA) would like to thank all of industry who participated in the Machine Learning Industry Day held on Thursday August 31, 2023.� As stated, all Industry Day presenstation slides have been posted to this announcement.� The Q&As will be posted at a later date in the near future.� Please see attachments below.�� *********************************UPDATE****************************** August 7, 2023 This update is to announce the time of the TSL Machine Learning Industry Day at the DHS TSA Headquarters located at 6595 Springfield Center Drive, Springfield, VA 22150 on Thursday August 31, 2023, Time: 9:00am to 5:00pm ET. All of the industry day Presentations and Q&As will be posted to Sam.gov after the event.�� THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), Office of Innovation and Collaboration (OIC), Office of National Laboratories (ONL), Transportation Security Laboratory (TSL), working in conjunction with DHS Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Requirements and Capability Analysis (RCA) and Acquisition Program Management (APM) are sponsoring an Industry Day to disclose, discuss, and receive feedback on a proposed framework for the submission, developmental training and testing, and validation (certification) of automatic threat detection algorithms incorporating machine learning. This RFI constitutes the official announcement of a Machine Learning Industry Day event (hereafter the �Event�) at TSA Headquarters located at 6595 Springfield Center Drive, Springfield, VA 22150 on Thursday August 31, 2023, Time:TBD.� This RFI also provides interested organizations and persons with instructions on how to participate in this Event. Persons wishing to attend the Event must register NLT�Monday July 31, 2023, 10:00 A.M. EST. Please complete the attached registration form and email your request to�OPOIndustryLiaison@hq.dhs.gov.
