- MGC MAINTENANCE ACQ-PLAN: 36C245-23-AP-2823 IFCAP #:540-24-1-153-0005 SOLICITATION #: 36C24524Q0025 **NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE** This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of an open market sole source award for MGC Diagnostics Systems, Complete Maintenance Services to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301-4155. The proposed award is to, Medical Graphics Corporation (SAM UEI: Q285F28T7UF2), the sole manufacturer, sales, and service provider of the MGC Diagnostics/Medical Graphics Cardiorespiratory Diagnostics line of medical equipment. This includes all software, hardware, training, and service components. MGC Diagnostics systems are considered proprietary and can only be obtained through and serviced/maintained/trained by MGC Diagnostics Corporation sales and service trained representatives. Award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Soliciting from a single source. The Period of Performance is for one base year with (4) one-year options. Specific services include preventative maintenance including required parts, system verification, alignment, and adjustments provided by the contractor at no additional customer cost. Unscheduled Service and maintenance parts & labor are provided. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance). Product Service Code (PSC) is J065 (Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies). Small business size standard is $34.0 million. While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement.
