- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Geospatial Data Processing and Analysis Software The US Geological Survey (USGS), Office of Acquisitions and Grants (OAG), intends to negotiate and award a contract on a non-competitive basis to Bentley Systems, Inc., 685 Stockton Drive, Exton, PA 19341. The non-competitive requirement is for Geospatial data processing and analysis software needed to support multiple USGS science centers. This is a Notice of Intent only and not a request for competitive proposals or an announcement of a solicitation. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authorities of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for commercial software that is available only from Bentley Systems, Inc. The services include providing software licenses, maintenance, upgrades, training, and technical support for individual licenses of software for Geosoft Oasis montaj, Leapfrog, and Aarhus Workbench Geosoftware. The software is required for the processing, analysis, modeling, and visualization of geoscientific data. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAIC) identified for this action is 513210 � Software Publishers. The Small Business Size Standard is $47M. The anticipated award date is October 20, 2023. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to Jason Harris at jharris@usgs.gov: All responsible sources may submit inquiries, capability statement, proposal, or explanation and evidence as to how your company will provide maintenance and support, manage, maintain, and repair software that is otherwise known to be proprietary no later than 12:00 PM (ET) on October 16, 2023, which shall be considered by the agency. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to Jason Harris at jharris@usgs.gov. Inquiries must clearly state the solicitation number (DOIGFBO240002) and subject. The contract award information will be posted on SAM.gov, Contract Opportunities website at SAM.gov. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only.
