Description

This notice is a Post-Award Request for Information for the Industry to provide feedback in reference to the below award and why government only received one resonse. The requirement is for Refuse Service at Fairchild AFB with a period of performance from 1 October 2023 through 30 September 2030.� The request for Proposal was posted as competitive and two provideers indicated their interest in providing the service.� Only one provider provided a proposal.� The award FA462023D0009 was made to Torre Refuse and Recyling for $4,580,905.06. This notice is a Request for Information in accordance with DFARS PGI 215.371-2, ""Promote competition.""� The PGI states,� ""(a) For competitive solicitations in which more than one potential offeror expressed an interest in an acquisition, but only one offer was ultimately reeived, the Contracting Officer shall- (1) Seek feedback (e.g,. issue an RFI) after award from potential offerors expected to submit an offer;� and (2) Document any feedback received in the contract file.� (b) Agencies shall use any feedback received when considering how to overcome barriers to competition for future requirements.""
