- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is issued as request for quotation, 86614123Q00011. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05. The associated NAICS is 611430, size standard $11M, and this action is unrestricted with no small business set-asides being used. A list of line item number(s) and items, quantities, and units of measure (including option(s), if applicable) Period of Performance: 24 NOV 2023 23 NOV 2028 (Including Option Periods) OFFER DUE DATE: The quotes are due by 20 OCT 2023 at 1400 Central Time. HUD/OLHCHH requires continued support for ongoing IPM requirement by providing a broad range of technical assistance (TA) and capacity development (CD) services to housing providers. The goal of this relationship is to work with housing providers to implement IPM practices for cockroaches, bed bugs, and rodents. To meet this goal, some housing providers will only want limited TA, but free training will be offered as both an incentive and a logical step in a larger process. At the time of training, the basic framework should be in place for trainees to make institutional changes immediately after the training day. In the case of staff turnover, continued TA will be considered as an eligible activity. Evaluation will continue to be a part of this project. The project will emphasize maximum coordination among housing providers, federal and extension partners, and healthy housing organizations;minimize duplication of effort; and promote well-vetted, research-based resourceswhere they existfor the affordable housing audience. HUD expects the outcome to result in public housing providers successful IPM implementation, reduce infestation in public housing, and a healthier public housing community and environment.
