- The 30th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to a full fuel line replacement piping at the AAFES Gas Station at Vandenberg AFB, CA.� No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB),and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. �Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. �The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.� Any future solicitation available for competition, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://beta.sam.gov/).� Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The Government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein in order to complete the project within 30 days. �The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes applies to this request of information: 457120- Other Gasoline Stations, 486910 - Pipeline Transportation of Refined Petroleum Products, 237120 - Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction, 447110 - Gasoline Stations with Convenience Stores. The purpose of the project is to investigate, design and build a solution for the full fuel line replacement piping at the AAFES Gas Station on Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB). This facility is the lone gas station on Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) for fueling personal vehicles. Aside from commuters using the gas station to fill up their tanks, this station also supports a large community that lives on VSFB. See the attached drawing for more details, a statement of work (SOW) is currently not available at this present time. The estimated magnitude of the project is currently unknown at this time. The proposed contract would be a firm-fixed-priced contract. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be or must obtain registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov/).
