Description

NOTICE OF INTENT to Award Sole Source � Digital Nyloprint Plates BPA THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP), Office of Quality Operations� intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract on a noncompetitive basis to XSYS North America Corporation (formerly known as Flint Group), (UEI: KM2SLJSTDRA2) of 2915 Whitehall Park Dr Ste 600, Charlotte, North Carolina 28273, USA. Policies and procedures from FAR Part 13.5 will be used. This requirement is for Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a 3-year ordering period for the purchase of Digital Nyloprint Plates specified in the associated Statement of Work (SOW). The Government intends to negotiate solely with XSYS North America Corporation under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. The applicable NAICS Code is 332999- All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing, and the business size standard is 750 employees. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of equipment provided. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing the capability information will be provided by BEP. Capability statements, comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice shall be submitted via e-mail ONLY to eloisa.salvatera@bep.gov and jason.roberts@bep.gov, NO LATER THAN Friday, 20 October 2023 at 4:00PM, EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Questions by phone or fax will not be considered. Additionally, interested sources must be registered and currently active in the System for Award Management (SAM), found at https://www.sam.gov.
