- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, Network 10 Contracting Office intends to negotiate a sole source contract for preventive maintenance service for MacLab/CardioLab (MLCL) Systems under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for the following services listed below. The associated NAICS code for this is 811210. The vendor will be GE Precision Healthcare LLC, 3000 North Grandview Boulevard, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188. Description of services: SERVICE: Service contract to provide preventive maintenance for Government owned MacLab/CardioLab (MLCL) systems and servers. A firm fixed price contract with four (4) option years is anticipated and will be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Clear and convincing evidence includes providing evidence that OEM parts will be used and having the required training certifications to not void any warranties. Responses must be received NLT 11:59 PM EST on 18 OCT 2023. No telephonic inquiries shall be accepted. All responses must be e-mailed to the contracting officer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers.
