Once this is completed you are now logged into the system.� PROJECTS TO BE DISCUSSED� Rio de La Plata Flood Control Project, Supplemental Contract 1, Dorado and Toa Baja, Puerto Rico� The scope of work for the Rio de La Plata Flood Control Project Supplemental Contract 1 includes construction of several major features: East Levee, West Levee, Channel widening with slope and scour protection, and four culvert structures (3A, 6A, 7 and 11), and wetland mitigation areas; and several minor features to manage interior and exterior drainage, such as drainage swales. This work also includes but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, temporary construction crossings material disposal areas, temporary traffic controls, demolition of abandoned structures, protection of cultural resource areas, surface and ground water control, utility relocations, and all incidental related work. All work impacting public roads, restricting public traffic, and related to utility relocations shall comply with PRHTA Standard Specifications.�� Rio Puerto Nuevo Flood Control Project, Supplemental Contract 5A, Notre Dame Bridge� The scope of work for the Rio Puerto Nuevo Supplemental Contract 5A includes the replacement of the Notre Dame Bridge and the construction of a one-lane pedestrian bridge. This Contract also includes the construction of 300-ft of concrete walled channel improvements.� Ca�o Martin Pe�a Contract 2 Western Bridges Scour Protection� The scope of work for Contract 2 includes construction of 800-foot-long paved channel in order to protect the foundations of the western bridges from scour associated with reestablishing flow through the CMP (to be completed as part of contract 3). The channel bottom and the side slopes would be constructed of riprap. Steel sheet pile channel walls will be installed at the east end of Contract 2. This channel wall will be connected with the channel walls to the east (to be constructed under contract 3). The excavated material would be disposed in a regulated land fill. For this contract, Las Piedritas area is suggested as temporary staging area.� Rio Grande de Arecibo� The scope of work for the Rio Grande de Arecibo Flood Risk Management Project includes engineering features such as floodwalls, drainage ditches and a floodplain levee along the Arecibo River; approximately 1.5 miles of channel improvements along the Rio Santiago Channel, three bridge replacements, and a wetland mitigation area for the creation of mangrove habitat.�� NAICS CODE:� 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a small business size standard of $45mil.� POINT OF CONTACT (POC):� Questions regarding this event can be directed to Adeline Fuata (adeline.f.fuata@usace.army.mil) and Elton Thompson (elton.d.thompson@usace.army.mil).� ATTACHMENTS:� Industry Day Presentation - to be posted�
