Description

The rescue squadrons stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB require scheduled and out of cycle maintenance, service, and repair of all Larsen and Brusgaard ALFA Altimeters. � The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, periodic inspection, repair of any wear and tear, and other items and services necessary to provide LB ALFA Altimeter Maintenance services. The contractor shall perform preventive maintenance and shall repair and replace all worn or failed components and parts. � The LB ALFA Altimeter is required service and maintenance when systems are found to be unserviceable through routine maintenance checks. All new LB altimeters are covered by a 2 year warranty. After 2 years, the LB ALFA Altimeters may require scheduled maintenance. When an LB ALFA Altimeter is found to be unserviceable it must be sent for scheduled maintenance. The scheduled maintenance of the LB ALFA Altimeter shall include, but not limited to, the diagnostics, battery replacement, battery cover inspection (replacement if necessary), replacement of worn out sealings, software updates if version number and PCB version allows, calibration, waterproof testing, final functional testing (flight performance in test chamber). Any additional issues found with the system will incur additional costs prior to conducting repairs. Additional repairs not covered under the service and maintenance are replacement of broken LCD, Replacement of broken top glass, replacement of, broken top part (Frame), replacement of broken bottom part (Frame), replacement of buttons, and replacement of complete circuit board (if too old for upgrade). The intent is to create a Sole Source, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, contract to LB Altimeters US / The Ratings Center, LLC for the scheduled and out of cycle Service/Maintenance/Repair of the�Larsen and Brusgaard ALFA Altimeters
