- This RFQ shall not be construed as a formal solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Formal solicitations will be executed and posted separately at a future date. The AFICC 772 ESS is interested at this point only in identifying interested and capable contractors for this work as part of the market research effort. The Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC)/772d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (772 ESS) and Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) is seeking information from experienced DANISH OR GREENLANDIC firms to provide American Petroleum Institute (API) 653 Repairs of Four Fuel Storage Tanks at Thule Air Base, Greenland.��� NAICS code for this work is 237120 Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction, PSC Z2NA, with a size standard of $45M. Background: The plan is to perform out of service API 653 tank repairs on two tanks on the initial effort tanks 18 and 23 with an option year for tanks 27 and 28 to follow. The API inspection repair items are identical for all four tanks, and each are AST�s that have no floating roof. The refueling barge comes to Thule once per year in June to July, and repairs must be completed after refueling barge delivery in summer of 2024. For purposes of this RFQ, if you represent a Danish or Greenlandic firm that specializes in repair services for US DoD POL Infrastructure, please submit the following information to support your firm�s qualifications: Does the contractor have sufficient tank experience repairing fuel tanks? Reference project experience locations and timelines. Does the contractor have access and can hire API 653 certified Inspectors to certify repairs? Can the contractor provide CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) to certify tank safety? Can the contractor provide adequate experience in tank repairs to meet API 653 guidance? Are the contractors able to manage Lead Based Paint handling and removal with disposal Procedures to ensure personnel protection public and private? Can the contractor meet UFGS coating requirements for personnel qualification (interior and exterior)? Base/Host Nation Are contractors familiar with Limitations, challenges and hurdles that go along with work at Pituffik/Thule AB location?� Logistics, environmental, Weather limitations, wildlife etc.. Are contractors familiar with Host Nation (SOFA) limitation and regulations when traveling as a contractor to this location? Is the contractors registered as a contractor with Kingdom of Norway regarding Diplomatic Note 127 contracting limitations? Is the contractor familiar/registered with HOST Nation (Kingdom of Norway) diplomatic Note 053? Are they considered a �Host Nation� contractor? Logistics and Scheduling Are contactors familiar with HOST Nation (Kingdom of Norway) environmental and legal disposal actions for tank bottoms? Are contractors familiar with Pacer Goose Operations that Operate and load out of Norfolk VA annually? Are contractors familiar with �BOS� contractor Memorandum of Agreement for Services? (for equipment rental, lodging, food, vehicle use etc..) Please also provided the following information as part of the submission. Company name, Cage Code, DUNS, and Address Point of contact and applicable telephone numbers and e-mail addresses � � � �5. Due Date: Contractors shall indicate their interest in this requirement through submission of a capabilities statement. (5 pages maximum) with responses to sections 1 - 4.
