- The Federal Bureau of Prisons: Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn�intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all the necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to perform maintenance on the refrigerator/freezer walk-in boxes located at MDC Brooklyn and Building 4. Contractrors shall provide quotes encompassing the cost for all management, supervision, labor, materials, repairs, supplies, tools, instruments, equipment, shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services. Such services and maintenance shall apply to all refrigerator/freezer walk-in boxes regardless of whether they are specifically shown in these specifications and such services may result in work which may need to be conducted at other than normal business hours so not to interfere with the normal operations of MDC Brooklyn. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLACES OF PERFORMANCE: The location hereinafter referred as ""MDC Brooklyn AND Building 4"" shall refer to performance at: MDC Brooklyn: 80 29th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232 AND Building 4: 199 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EVALUATION FACTORS:� This solicitation is expected to result in the award of a firm-fixed priced contract. An award will be made to the responsible contractor whose quote conforms to the requirements and is determined to provide the best value to the Government, considering the evaluation factors outlined below: 1). Past performance - Past Performance information shall include prior experience and similar performances undertaken by the contractor; and 2). Price - The government will evaluate the contractor's proposed price to ensure it is fair and reasonable. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SITE VISIT: Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Contractors are not required to attend the site visit but are recommended to do so. All contractors who are planning on attending the site visit MUST�email amrodriguez@bop.gov by Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBMIT QUOTES BY: Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 4:00 PM to amrodriguez@bop.gov. Specify the Notice ID in the subject portion of the email. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All vendors must complete and comply with the following: 1. Complete and submit the contractor's information sheet. 2. Submit their quote. 3. Review the Statement of Work (SOW) Document. 4. Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Review and comply with the attached Service Contract Act WD #2015-4187 for appropriate wage determinations. ""The Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, apply to contractors and subcontractors performing on federally funded or assisted contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration, or repair (including painting and decorating) of public buildings or public works. Davis-Bacon Act and Related Act contractors and subcontractors must pay their laborers and mechanics employed under the contract no less than the locally prevailing wages and fringe benefits for corresponding work on similar projects in the area. The Davis-Bacon Act directs the Department of Labor to determine such locally prevailing wage rates. The Davis-Bacon Act applies to contractors and subcontractors performing work on federal or District of Columbia contracts.""
