Description

The purpose of this update, 31 Oct 2023, is to post a redacted version of an additional FOE related to the subject contract. The purpose of this update is to post a redacted version of the FOE. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE A MODIFICATION The Space Operations Command Space Acquisition Integration Office (SpOC/SAIO) intends to award a sole source modification to Sev1Tech, Inc. under an existing task order. The IDIQ number is GS00Q14OADS137 and the task order number FA251718F9009. The sole source modification is to add two months of performance utilizing the FAR clause 52.217-8, Extension of Services. SpOC/SAIO will utilize the authority to sole source an action following the procedures established in FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i). The rationale for the Fair Opportunity Exception (FOE) will be outlined in the FOE that will be posted by the required timeline established in FAR 16.505(d). In summary, the FOE is to add two months of performance utilizing clause 52.217-8, Extension of Services and the reasoning for executing an FOE is that the Extension of Services was not evaluated as part of the original competition/total evaluated price (TEP). This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. �No solicitation or RFP will be forthcoming. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.
