7 September 2023 - Amendment 0003 -�The purpose of this amendment is to inform potential offerors that the Government is in receipt of a protest for this solicitation. Please withhold submitting your proposals until further notice. Contractors are to address their bonding accordingly. 09-08-2023 1:00 PM CST due date is deferred until further notice is amended. Further guidance will follow in a forthcoming amendment. See 36C25623R0081 Amendment 0003 attached to this update. **************************************************************************************************************************************************** 31 August 2023 - Amendment 0002 -�The purpose of this amendment is to provide additional clarification regarding recently submitted RFI responses.� See 36C25623R0081 Amendment 0002 attached to this update. **************************************************************************************************************************************************** 24 August 2023 - Amendment 0001 -�The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate the following changes to this solicitation: 1.Update the period of performance to 300 Calendar Days. 2.Extend the proposal due date to 09-08-2023 at 1:00 PM CST. 3.Incorporate the RFI responses as ""Attachment F - RFI Responses 598-19-118 Rplc 21 AHUs n Chillers Final"". 4.Incorporate the asbestos inspection as ""Attachment G - 598-19-118 ASBESTOS INSPECTION Bldg 170"". 5.Incorporate the site visit attendance sheet as ""Attachment H - 598-19-118 Site Visit Attendance"". See 36C25623R0081 Amendment 0001 and its attachments attached to this update. **************************************************************************************************************************************************** This procurement will be issued as a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) through RFP procedures under FAR 15 and other FAR Parts and Subparts as applicable. This acquisition is for the replacement of 21 Air Handling Units and a Chiller for AHU 18 in Bldg 170 at the Eugene J. Towbin Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The anticipated contract award date is approximately 60 days or less after receipt of proposals. The recommended period of performance is 300 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Location of the work is at the Eugene J. Towbin Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72214. Work consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to conduct construction in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. All construction work must be performed without affecting medical center s operations. NAICS code 238220, Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors is applicable to the RFP and the Small Business Size Standard is $19M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Interested offerors are asked to first read over the RFP and all its associated attachments/documents in their entirety prior to forwarding any questions to the Contracting Officer. A cut-off time/date for receipt of questions will be established and listed in the RFP as well as a time/date for the scheduled Site Visit. The RFP number for this project is 36C25623R0081. The RFP will be posted and can be downloaded (without charge) from the SAM.gov website. Amendments to the RFP will not be mailed, but will be posted at the SAM.gov website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP (and associated documents/attachments) from the SAM.gov website and for acknowledging all amendments to the RFP. It is the responsibility of all interested offerors to check the SAM.gov website as necessary for any Amendments to the RFP (to include the day bids are due). In accordance with VAAR 819.7003 Eligibility, at the time of submission of a proposal, the offeror must represent to the Contracting Officer that it is a SDVOSB concern, that it is a small business concern under the NAICS Code assigned to the acquisition, and that it is verified for eligibility in the Small Business Association website (veterans.certify.sba.gov) and have the Veterans Small Business Certification. SDVOSB concerns must also be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
