- This Sources Sought is being issued by the Department of the Interior (DOI), Acquisition Services, Directorate (AQD), Interior Business Center (IBC), on behalf of the DOI Office of Facilities and Administrative Service (OFAS) for generator maintenance services. Purpose: This Sources Sought is seeking information to aid in determining the acquisition strategy, contract vehicle and aid in determination to set aside the requirement for small businesses. Response to this sources sought is strictly voluntary and will not affect any firm�s ability to submit an offer if, or when, a solicitation is released. This sources sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or obligation on the part of the Government. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kinds of offers will be considered in response to this sources sought notice. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this sources sought notice. The Government will not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. If you submit proprietary information, you must clearly mark PROPRIETARY on every sheet containing such information and segregate the proprietary information to the maximum extent practical from other portions of your response (e.g. use an attachment or exhibit). Respondents are responsible for adequately marking proprietary information in their response. All information received in response to this sources sought that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the sources sought will not be returned. An electronic acknowledgement of the vendor�s response submission will be provided. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within one business day, please notify the contracting officer ensure successful delivery. The anticipated period of performance will be for a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. Submission Information: All potential sources with the capability to provide the requirements referenced in this notice and in the draft SOW are invited to submit, in writing, sufficient information within the page limitation (listed in this section). This information must demonstrate the responder�s ability to fulfill the requirements identified in this notice. Submission Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word. The typed font and point for your response must be no smaller than Times New Roman 11 point. Submission Contents: Your submission, at a page limit of no more than 10 pages, must contain: a. Cover b. Section 1 � Vendor Comments to the Draft SOW c. Section 2 - Past Performance/Capability Responses must address the following requirements: A cover sheet which includes: a. Vendor Company Name; b. Name of Point of Contact; c. Email Address; d. Vendor Unique Entity ID; e. Your socio-economic status based on NAICS code. SECTION 1: Vendor Comments to Draft SOW Please see the Draft Statement of Work Document for all proposed technical requirements. Section 1 should include any questions vendor's have on the Draft SOW and the Government�s requirement. Section 2: Vendor Past Performance/Capability Please submit a recent (within the last 3 years) example of a past project that is similar to the requirements specified in the draft SOW. The example should include: - Contract number - Project Title - Project Description - Award amount in dollars - Technical and contracting points of contact with email addresses and phone numbers One example is required, but up to three are allowed. Questions Due: The vendor community is encouraged to include their questions in their response. The vendor�s questions will be considered when drafting the impending solicitation.
