Description

Functional Statement of Work Nutanix HCI � Software Support and Licensing SCOPE: Contractor shall furnish all labor and expertise necessary to provide software licensing and technical support of the Nutanix HCI solution in VISN 23. The existing Nutanix solution has a support and maintenance contract that is expiring 9/30/2023. The number of software licenses will also be increasing, so VISN 23 has included those costs in the IGCE. CONTRACT PERIOD: Contract period shall include one base year, beginning October 1, 2023 and ending on September 30, 2024, and four subsequent option periods through September 30, 2028. QUALIFICATIONS: This contract will be bid out to current Government Contract holders that can provide Nutanix license and support line items due to proprietary software keys. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED: General: The contract will provide an annual software license for the Nutanix virtual server environment located in VISN 23.� The contractor will provide the necessary resources and supervision to properly execute software support of the Nutanix virtual server environment located in VISN 23. Support: The contractor will provide telephone and remote VPN technical support 24/7 to the VA for the Nutanix virtual server environment. The contractor will provide software updates as they are available/applicable. New Equipment: � Equipment may be added or deleted from the service contract as needed upon notification by the Contracting Officer (to be documented in writing via contract amendment).� Training: Contractor will provide instructor-led training for Enterprise Cloud Platform Administrators. Training is to be on VA property and last 4 days. Part number for desired Nutanix training: EDU-C-ADM5-PVTPK TERMS AND CONDITIONS: User Responsibility:� The contractor will not be held responsible under the terms of this contract for repairs to equipment necessitated by user abuse and/or misuse of equipment. The technology resides at all VISN 23 locations.
