- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 22 intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price, contract to Ricoh USA, Inc for a Ephesoft Transact Software to be utilized at the VA San Diego Community Care (VACC) Service located at 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. This contract action is for products and services for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) Only One Source. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541519, Other Computer Care Related Services with a small business size standard of $34 Million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA San Diego Community Care intends to award a firm fixed price, single source delivery order to Ricoh USA, Inc. The purpose of the order is to obtain Ephesoft Transact Software to automatically process incoming faxes and identify key information to be extracted and filed in the properly named and correct folder. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
