Description
PURCHASE DESCRIPTION�FOR�Scissor Lift 1.0 GENERAL 1.1. SCOPE: This purchase includes 1 each Scissor Lift. This lift will be used by DPW to perform maintenance�and repairs across the Depot, according to the request they are currently using ladders, so�having a lift would reduce risk of a fall. See specification below. - Minimum height 25 feet, Max height 30 ft. (Indoor) - Minimum height 21 feet, Max height 27 feet(outdoor) - Platform Capacity Minimum 507 Lbs. (Indoor) 275 Lbs. (Outdoor) - Platform Extension Minimum Capacity 275Lbs. (Indoor/outdoor) - Number of occupants 2 Indoor, 1 Outdoor - Minimum Drive height indoor/outdoor: 21 feet - Gradeability Indoor/outdoor: 25% minimum 1.2. GENERAL INFORMATION: 1.2.1. Depot Hours of Operation: Letterkenny�s tour of duty which is a compressed work schedule with eight days that are nine hours in duration, one day that is eight hours in duration and one standard day off within a two-week pay period (80 hours). Monday through Thursday shall be nine hour days scheduled from 0600 through 1530. The first Friday of the pay period shall be an eight hour day scheduled from 0600 through 1430. The second Friday of the pay period shall be the standard day off. 2.0. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: 2.1. Material: Identify requirement and provide additional specification when required. 2.2. Will provide advanced notice when a Certificate of Conformance is required. 3.0. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 3.1. Provide material that meets the government requirement. 3.2. Provide Certificate of Conformance when requested. 4.0. PRESERVATION, PACKAGING AND DELIVERY: 4.1 The contractor shall utilize standard commercial methods for preservation and packaging appropriate for all material and acceptable to commercial carriers. As a minimum, all areas susceptible to damage from exposure to the elements shall be preserved and/or packed to prevent damage. The contractor shall be responsible for ensuring the material is delivered to LEAD in good condition. 4.2 Delivery Point: The material shall be delivered to Letterkenny Army Depot. Location will be identified in the award. 5.0. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: The material will be inspected by Letterkenny Army Depot Quality Assurance once received and accepted in Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
