The work will require the construction of 744 feet of cut off wall to complete the window (gap) in the existing Natomas levee cut off wall located in Reach D. The window resides both through and on either side of California State Route 99. The Contractor shall provide a bid based on the level of effort described herein to remediate the site. Site: The Hwy 99 Project area runs along the northern portion of the Natomas Basin levee system where the highway crosses over the Natomas Cross Canal, just north of the Howsley Road exit and Howsley Road. This project is in Sutter County, California. Both the Northbound and Southbound lanes of highway intersect the levee and will require coordination with the Department of California Transportation (Caltrans).
