Description

The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for the project known as: Sabula Erosion Repairs. Project Description: The work consists of repairing damages that consist of wave wash along the North and South levees. Repairs to the North levee include the of placing riprap to fill a scour hole and match the existing riprap immediately adjacent. Repairs to the South levee will consist of placing sand fill to restore the levee profile. In accordance with FARS 36.204(d), the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $250K - $500K. This prospective contract action will be conducted using the NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction), the size standard is $45M, and the Federal Supply Code is Y1QA Construction of Restoration of Real Property (Public or Private). The solicitation will proceed as a Competitive 100% Women Owned Small Business Set-Aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 13 December 2023 with bids due tentatively on 15 January 2024.�� The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as SAM.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. The only INTERESTED VENDORS LISTS (plan-holder's/bidder's list) is available via SAM.gov.� Contractors are responsible for self-identifying as interested vendors and viewing other interested vendors.� Contractors should check beta.sam.gov frequently for any changes to the interested vendors list and notice.
