Description
Combined Synopsis This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Defense Health Agency Southeastern Markets Contracting Division (DHA SEM-CD) intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source purchase order to the Virginia State Department of Health (Virginia State Anatomical Program) located at 400 E Jackson St, Richmond Va. 23219-1438, United States for human cadavers in support of medical training and research conducted at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP Portsmouth) VA. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement of these supplies and services is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source, which states, �For purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.� This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all quotes received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. The solicitation number is HT940623QCadavers. This announcement is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NMCP Portsmouth, VA has a requirement for a follow-on contract for human cadavers required in support of the Bioskills Lab and Residency Training Program. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform tasks listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Attachment A. Contract Line-Item Structure (CLINS)�� CLIN 0001 Base Year : 01 January 2024 - 31 December 2024 CLIN 0002 Option Year 1: 01 January 2025 � 31 December 2025 CLIN 0003 6-Month Option Period:�01 January 2026 � 30 June 2026 Place of Performance: The work shall be performed at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP Portsmouth) 620 John Paul Jones Circle Portsmouth, VA 23708.
