- Description: THIS IS AN INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT; ISSUED BY THE NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVSEA), ON BEHALF OF THE U.S. NAVY AND FOREIGN MILITARY SALES BOAT AND CRAFT PROGRAM OFFICE (PMS300) FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS FOR NAICS CODE 336611 CLASSIFICATION CODE: 19 � SHIPS, SMALL CRAFT, PONTOONS & FLOATING DOCKS I. SUMMARY On behalf of the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales Boat and Craft Program Office (PMS 300), the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) announces an Industry Day for the sources sought notice (N00024-23-R-2227) for the Pacific - Training Support Vessels, hereafter referred to as the P-TSVs. The Industry Day will be divided into two (2) parts. Part 1 will be a Navy-led brief of the P-TSV program, the acquisition plan, technical requirements and specification and Part 2 will be one-on-one meetings with industry.? Industry attendees are encouraged to participate in both parts; however, it is?not?required.?Part 1,?Industry Day, will be held on 29 November 2023, from noon-2pm,?at the International Workboat Show (IWBS) at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA, and possibly also via teleconference and Part 2, one-on-one discussions on 29 November 2023 from 2:30pm � 5pm. An objective of this engagement is to inform industry of the upcoming procurement and gain feedback on the acquisition plan and specification package. The brief will inform industry of the mission and requirements of the P-TSV and provide details of the program. ?The P-TSVs shall be capable of operation in open-ocean in high sea states, day or night, in all-weather in support of fleet training requirements and fleet exercise objectives. The vessels could be operated up to 30 days continuously and up to 250 days per year at sea. The P-TSVs will be procured as used Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs) with associated alterations as required to meet the mission requirements as outlined in the DRAFT specification. �NAVSEA plans to procure five P-TSVs during the Fiscal Years (FY) 2024-2028. II. DATE, LOCATION, AGENDA, REGISTRATION, LOGISTICS PART 1: DATE: 29 November 2023 P-TSV Program Brief � Noon � 2:00pm (Eastern Standard Time) WHERE:?The events will be held in a meeting room #257 at the IWBS, and Part 1 may also be available via?teleconference (details will be provided to registered participants). SCHEDULE: 30 minute blocks between 2:30pm-5pm, and assigned after registration for PART 2. WHO SHOULD ATTEND:?Shipyards capable of servicing vessels up to 280�; OSV owners, operators and brokers; naval architects. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
