- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Care Systems has a requirement for General Surgeon Services.�The contractor shall furnish one (1) Board Certified Physician to provide services necessary to perform onsite General Surgery Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks (hereinafter referred to as VHSO). The Contractor�s physician(s)� care shall cover the range of General Surgery services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards American Association for General Surgeons� http://www.absurgery.org/default.jsp?cc_gs The Contractor shall provide one (1) Board Certified Physician on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks (VHSO).� The contractor must provide personnel who are credentialed, privileged and Active staff at a local area hospital within 25 miles of VAMC 1100 North College Ave. Fayetteville, AR. 72703. The proposed contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with five ordering periods. Projected period of performance will be 1 January 2024 (or from date of award) to 31 December 2028. The operational hours and workload is covered by one (1) Board Certified Physician at VHSO and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract (After normal clinic hours: On-Call Mon-Fri 4:00pm-8:00am and for On-Call weekends (Fri 4:00pm-Mon 8:00am) and Federal holidays) each 12 month period. This acquisition is being procured as a Small Business set aside, applicable NAICS code 621111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists), Size Standard $16M. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON SAM.GOV. Solicitation to be available on or about 14 November 2023 with quotes due approximately 20 days from the issue date, 10:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST). All questions FOLLOWING issuance of solicitation to be submitted via email within seven (7) calendar days after issuance to anitra.session@va.gov, using 36C25624Q0187 in the subject line (no telephone requests will be responded to). Answers to questions will be provided via solicitation amendment.
