Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE **NOTICE OF INTENT NOI-NIAID-24-2202252 NAICS � 811210 This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal.� The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Illumina, Inc. to procure a prorated service/maintenance agreement for NEXSEQ 2000 Silver Support Plan, asset # VH01333 POP: 11/28/2023 � 07/04/2024 This requirement will fulfill current service contract needs, up through a co-term date in July 2024, to ensure this specific piece of Illumina equipment is operational to support the critical research in the NIAID Vaccine Research Center (VRC) without interruption.� It is imperative that these instruments are operational and available for NIAID research efforts. �In addition to requiring OEM parts and service, software updates and diagnostic repairs on hardware and software are necessary. The contract shall include the following NexSeq 2000 Silver Support Plan Services: Full coverage for parts, labor, and travel; Reagent replacement upon HW failures; 1 PM; Remote Technical Support 18x5; 2 business day on-site response target; control SW and HW updates; on-site applications support; discounts on advanced training; remote monitoring available. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 1901 (e) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.� All responsible sources that could provide comparable services may submit a capability statement proving they meet all the specifications outlined via email (subject line to reference NOI-NIAID-24-2202252) to Dana Monroe at dana.monroe@nih.gov, by Tuesday, November 21, 2023 by 5:00pm eastern time. All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
