The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, parts, and expertise necessary to complete the required detector re-burn on the SIEMENS GAMMA CAMERA SYMBIA S.CAM, SCANNING SYSTEMS: GAMMA CAMERA system. The SIEMENS GAMMA CAMERA SYMBIA S.CAM is used on average 2-3 times per day. It is used to conduct multiple different exams including bone scans, lung scans, HIDA scans, brain scans, and renal scans. Currently, the Symbia gamma camera detectors measured quantitative integral uniformity values are much greater than the manufacturer s recommendations. There are also ring artifacts visualized in some transverse slices of the ACR SPECT phantom. Image quality is thus adversely affected, and repair is recommended. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
