Description

THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis as a means of conducting market research or as a market survey to determine the availability of potential qualified vendors with the technical capability to provide all management, supervision, administration, and labor for the Nuclear Material Events Database (NMED).� Specific activities include:� 1) collecting, reviewing, and analyzing nuclear material events; 2) providing event review assessment against existing NRC/Agreement State requirements to support NRC�s nuclear materials assessment staff; 3) technical assistance on specific problems related to nuclear material events; 4) maintaining and upgrading NMED (database. software, and website) and the NMED Agreement State software (local standalone system provided to the State); 5) conducting trending analysis of potential event trends; and 6) developing new procedures and/or modifying existing procedures regarding the use/maintenance of NMED.� Services are to be provided to the NRC in Rockville, Maryland.� The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541690.
