- Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 3 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) to SCRIPTPRO USA INC., 5828 Reeds Road, Mission, KS 66202-2740 for the procurement of the ScriptPro Equipment and Windows 10 Upgrade currently in use at CTVHCS Temple, Austin, and Waco Outpatient Pharmacies located in Temple, Austin, and Waco, TX, VA Central Texas Healthcare System (CTVHCS). This order for ScriptPro Equipment and Windows 10 Upgrade, to be provided for ARO 30 Days contract award, will be placed on a sole source basis with ScriptPro USA Inc. as the following circumstance in FAR 13.106-1(b) applies: only one source is capable to provide the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because ScriptPro Equipment and Windows 10 Upgrade is proprietary and may only be purchased and serviced through ScriptPro USA Inc. The VA Central Texas Healthcare System, CTVHCS Temple, Austin, and Waco Outpatient Pharmacies located in Temple, Austin, and Waco, TX currently utilizes ScriptPro Equipment, for the Pharamacy department in Texas. The substitution of any other part or unauthorized service personnel other than that from the manufacturer, ScriptPro USA Inc., will void the warranty of the equipment and cause the equipment to not be incompliance with ScriptPro software upgrades for ScriptPro products. Delivery schedule will be discussed prior to issuing the contract award. The anticipated award date is November 1, 2023. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, that all responsible sources and interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting technical data for this requirement data within 6 calendar days of this notice posting (no later than Nov 22, 2023, by 08:00 AM CST, to Angela Kyte, via email at angela.kyte@va.gov which shall be considered by the agency.
